The most exciting thing about our work is definitely our projects – and that is something that we are very excited to share with you. Below is a taste of our past and current projects.

Universität Wien

Wonderwerk supported the strategic planning efforts of the University of Vienna’s Faculty of Psychology. Based on the central question of, “What should the Psychology Faculty focus on in 2025, so that it achieves a meaningful contribution to research and to society?” recommendations on focus areas and human resources were made. These recommendations will be integrated into future development planning for the University of Vienna.

Netzwerk St. Josef

Wonderwerk supported the Saint Joseph’s Network (Netzwerk St. Josef) in Mils, Tirol – one of five locations of the Merciful Sisters of Zams (Barmherzige Schwestern von Zams) – with the topic of recruiting. Through a full-day Design Thinking Workshop, several ideas were collected and prototyped, and potential implementation plans were presented. The best ideas are now being refined and will be implemented.

Federal Ministry of Finance and the Federal Chancellery of Austria

Together with the Impact Hub, Wonderwerk worked with the “Debureaucratization and De-regulation” Working Group, which is overseen by the Federal Ministry of Finance (Bundesministerium für Finanzen) and the Federal Chancellery of Austria (Bundeskanzleramt), in order to create concrete recommendations that support debureaucratization for citizens and for businesses. We introduced our “Human-Centered Design” approach and worked together with citizens and businesses to develop concrete ideas for solutions. Within a short time frame, online surveys were conducted, Mini-Workshops were held, and prototypes for digital applications were created through a Design Workshop.

The City of Graz

Innovation has a strong, strategic value in the city of Graz. Wonderwerk is leading a series of workshops covering topics such as digitalization, trend and innovation management, design thinking and organizational development in city management. Based on these workshops, the Strategic Organizational Development Team in the city of Graz will develop opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness in both internal and external services and processes.

Social Fund of Vienna / Viennese Association of Social Institutions

Wonderwerk is supporting the Viennese Association of Social Institutions (Dachverband Wiener Sozialeinrichtungen), under contract from the Social Fund of Vienna (Fonds Soziales Wien), with the development of innovative services that support the inclusion of persons with disabilities in Vienna. Wonderwerk is designing the entire innovation process and using the Design-Thinking Method in order to ensure that end-customers and their unique needs will always be at the center of the process. A Design-Thinking project of this scale, addressing such a wide range of persons, has never taken place in the public and social sector within German-speaking countries yet. Wonderwerk is proud to be part of this pioneer project!

Austrian Chamber of Commerce

Wonderwerk is supporting the Austrian Chamber of Commerce in their strategic campaign on “Digitalization, Trend and Innovation Management.” Wonderwerk is working with the Chamber in order to help the organization proactively address the digital transformation. Our services encompass several aspects, including sensitizing executives to the chances and opportunities that digitalization offers, the creation of strategic scenarios for potential digital business models and business process design for digitalization as well as the internal management of trends and innovation.

Vielmehr für Alle! – Association for Education, Housing and Participation

Wonderwerk is supporting the association “Vielmehr für Alle!” (Much More for Everyone!) in the design of appropriate organizational structures. Since 2012, the club, whose diverse projects and programs have been awarded several prizes, has championed the cause of those who have had to flee their homes for various reasons. The club recently decided to change its organizational form from a small social start-up to a professional service provider. The challenge of managing the organization’s resulting rapid growth is significant, and it requires a professionalization of the organization’s grass-roots spirit while also protecting the innovativeness of the organization. We are very excited to be part of this valuable initiative!
